To change any details including your username, email or slack handle and upload an avatar image, you will need to log into the parent area of One Child and then click on the avatar in the top bar.  Select My Profile from the drop down menu.

On the profile page all relevant profile information is displayed.  This is where changes may be made to your user details.  You may also add an image which will be your avatar.  Avatars are useful for identification of parents by educators in any interactions you may have while using One Child.
