A feature image is selected by the author (educator) of a learning story after a story has been saved.  The feature image will be displayed for the learning story as the one image displayed in the learning story listing on an educators ‘Learning Story’ page, the dashboard page and a parents area feed.  If no feature image is added a ‘No Image Available’ image will be shown instead.

Note: The feature image is only displayed online to draw attention to the  article in the feed and is not included in a printed copy of the story.

To add a feature image while in the editor page for a learning story find the ‘Feature Image’ area.

If you have already uploaded images for the story click on the green ‘Insert Image’ button.  This will open a modal window with a selection of images.  Click on the radio button for the image you would like to feature and click on ‘Insert Feature Image’.

Note: You may only select one image to be your feature image.

Tip: Select an image which is landscape in orientation for best results.

The image will then be recorded as your feature image and will display in the ‘Feature Image’ area.
