What do I use notes for?

Notes are generally used for adding information which is not relevant to a learning story or reflection.  This could be a conversation you had with a child or recording information which has been supplied to you by a parent about the child for example likes and dislikes or transition information, it is up to you.

Notes do not need to be about a child either. The child section of the note is optional. This allows you to record information which will not be linked and show up in a child’s portfolio.
